Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent insufficient supply of cold or hot water when a cold water or hot water type air conditioner is operated at a high flow rate of work fluid, by reducing resistance and loss of the fluid flow through provision of a bypass passage in a remote control system for controlling the internal pressure in fluid passages and the change in fluid flow rate of the air conditioner.
CONSTITUTION: When the internal pressure in fluid passages is lowered with opening of a fluid passage opening and closing valve of an end unit, a bellows-disphragm 21 is moved downward and a differential-pressure switch 22 is turned ON. Resultantly, a circulation pump and a heat source unit using cold water or hot water are set into operation and circulation of fluid is started. Cold water or hot water at first flows to the side of a detection passage 10, so that a check valve 12 is moved upward and a flow switch 19 is turned ON. Thereupon, bellows-disphragm 21 is moved upward again along with rise of the internal pressure in the fluid passages, so that the switch 22 in a differential-pressure detecting section is turned OFF. In ordinary use, operation of the circulation pump and the heat source unit is maintained by a flow switch 19 in a flow detecting section. Further, in case that the number of end units to be used is increased, bypass passage 11 is closed, and in the subsequent state in which a large amount of work fluid is circulated, accordingly, most of the work fluid is passed to the bypass passage 11.
