Abstract
PURPOSE: To give a superior adhesive property with the compensating material and to give a corrosion resistance nearly the same with the nonweld zone, by making the covering rate of chromium oxide layer to be a specific % or more on the mash weld zone.
CONSTITUTION: Mash weld zone having 1.0W1.8 times thickness of plate thickness, is provided on the drum of welded can of tin-free steel having the surface coating which is composed of each layer of metallic chromium and chromium oxide. Covering rate of the chromium oxide layer at the face contacting with the welding electrode, is made about 30% or more as the area ratio. Further, splash is made none and also, sufficient strength of the weld zone is given, in order to perform the mash and seam resistance welding combined with the straight line electrode 6 and large curvature roll-shaped electrode 11.
