Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize the operation point of color erasure by performing synchronous detection by supplying a color burst signal to an amplifier with a constant amplification factor.
CONSTITUTION: A color burst signal supplied to input terminal 1 is amplified by amplifier 19 to certain level and supplied to synchronous detector 18. Because of the providing of amplifier 19, the color burst signal is invariably amplified at a constant rate and synchronous detector 18 tolerant of a noise detects its amplitude, so that fluctuations of the operation point of color erasure due to a noise will disappear. Further, since ACC uses the same circuit as usual, the gain of color signal amplifier 11 is suppressed even when a color noise increases, so that a color noise appearing on the screen will be reduced.
