Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a data gathering method low in loss probability that transmits data with a time slot corresponding to a random number generated at each mobile station by setting time slots successively after a polling signal of a base station. CONSTITUTION:As the base station sends out a polling signal or reference signal A, many subordinate stations, i.e. mobile stations set time slots B on the basis of the said signal A. Simultaneously, each mobile station generates a random number independently, selects a time slot at random and sends a data burst to the time slot. Figures C-G show that respective subordinate stations have selected time slots at random. The number of time slots may be less than the total number of mobile stations.
