Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the ground surface roughening of a two-component type diazo copying material having a photosensitive layer contg. a diazo compound and a coupling component without deteriorating the presservability by adding a specified phenol deriv. or the like to the layer. CONSTITUTION:The ground surface roughening of a two-component type diazo copying material having a photosensitive layer contg. a diazo compound and a coupling component on the support is prevented by adding about 0.2-1g/m<3> at least one kind of compound, to the photosensitive layer, selected from the compounds represented by formulae I, II (where each of R1 and R2 is alkyl; R3 is H, OH, alkyl or substituted alkyl; R4 is S, alkylene, -CH2SCH2- or a group of formula III; R5 is H, OH or alkyl; each of R6 and R7 is H or alkyl; R8 is a group of formula III; and each of R9 and R10 is alkyl). The compounds of formulae I, II include 2,6-di-t-butyl-p-cresol and 2,6-di-t-butyl-alpha-dimethyl-amino-p-cresol.
