Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent entering of foreign matters into a pressure sealing valve in a direct water feeding type automatic water feeding apparatus equipped with a pre- pressurized pneumatic pressure tank, by providing in said valve a screen for filtering water flowing into the tank and cleaning its foreign matter retaining surface with water passed therethrough at the time of direct feeding of water.

CONSTITUTION: A screen 33 is provided at the inlet of a pressure sealing valve 9 which disposed between a pump 1 and a pressure tank 3, so as to remove foreign matters contained in water pumped up into a tank 3 by the pump 1. The screen 33 removes foreign matters only at the time of feeding water into pressue tank 3, but at the time of direct feeding of water by pump 1, on the other hand, foregin matters retained on the surface of screen 33 is flowed away by the direct feeding water. With such an arrangement, a water passage 41 can be closed tightly by a diaphragm 43 since foreign matters do not enter into the water passage 41. Thus, it is enabled to keep the internal pressure of pressure tank 3 at a valve within a predetermined range for a long time and to make an utility efficiency of the tank capacity.
