Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an air of a sealed air chamber from solving into a liquid thereby preventing the break of a seal by forming an air chamber surrounding the main shaft between a case body and stirring blades. CONSTITUTION:The framework 3 consists of plural legs 3A by which the whole of a device is stably installed on the bottom of a tank and the foundation 3B by which the plural legs 3A are fixed. Also, between each of the legs is provided with a guide plate 5 to form the inlet portion a and the outlet portion b, and also its central part is provided with the projected main shaft 4 to which the stirring blades 6 are fitted. On the other hand, an oil storage chamber 7 to lubricate the sliding portion of a mechanical seal is filled with an oil, the air chamber 8 is shaped into a cylindrical chamber surrounding a certain range of the main shaft 4 extending downward, and the lower end of the air chamber is led to the outside through the communication port 9 a of narrow aperture. Thereby, the intermixture of air into liquid can be prevented and accordingly the breakdown of seal can be avoided.
