PURPOSE:To prevent the time lag of sound to secure tranmsparence of sound, by adding the discrimination indication from data to sound at a transmission time and by reading this discrimination indication at a receiving time and by executing error recovery procedures in respect to data frames. CONSTITUTION:Sound presence or sound absence is detected in the input part, and the sound presence/sound absence indication signal is added to sound information of the input frame, and this information is stored in sound buffer SB temporarily and is transmitted to the receiving part through sending circuit SEN after a fixed time. This transmission information is stored in receiving buffer RB successively for every frame and is checked for sound data, and sound frames are decoded to an analogue sound signal and is transmitted to the terminal. Data frames transmitted in stead of sound absence frames are sent to sequence number check circuit SNC and so on, and error recovery control is executed.
