Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure the registering of the character code row to which the registering is desired in the form of the idiomatic phase even under input of the character, by providing the input means such as the coordinate position detection part plus the character code conversion part, the idiomatic phase register part, the idiomatic conversion part and others.

CONSTITUTION: The items "initiation of idiomatic phase register" and "complection of idiomatic phase register" are provided at the function region of the input board surface 10. When the "initiation of idiomatic phase register" is indicated by the indicating pen 12, the input control part 11 detects the coordinates at the coordinate position detection part 13. The control part supplies the character codes supplied thereafter also to the temporary buffer 16 via the idiomatic phase register part 15 as well as to the character code file 14. And the coordinates of the surface 10 to which the register of the idiomatic phase is desired is supplied after the coordinates of the "completion of idiomatic phase register". Thus the character code row supplied to buffer 16 is written into the idiomatic phase table 18 along with the surface 10 and via the idiomatic phase conversion part 17. The figure 19 shows the character code converting part.
