Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the adequate stop of round shape for an X-ray and prevent its scattering lines, by concentrically overlapping a plurality of layers of beam shielding plates. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of sheets, for instance, four sheets of X-ray beam shielding plates (a1)-(a4) are constituted by laminating a lead plate of prescribed thickness to a respective metal or other rigid plate, and to a base plate 1, in which a movable adjustment ring 2 for giving a stop action of X-ray to said plate is provided, one ends of the beam shielding plates (a1)-(a4) are swivellably supported by sprockets 3 at the outside of the ring 2. Then beam shielding frames formed by a combination of the adjustment ring 2 and four sheets of the beam shielding plates (a1)-(a4) are concentrically overlapped in four stages to constitute a stop device for an X-ray.
