Abstract
PURPOSE: To keep the amount of mixed gas form subsuction path proper even at the time of low output and better the formation of swirl by providing a valve openable only during suction stroke interposingly in the subsuction path of a suction system provided with the subsuction path for forming a swirl flow.
CONSTITUTION: In case where the cylinder 9a is in a suction storke, the hole 15a provided in the rotary valve 15 is connected to the subsuction path 6a and a mixed gas separated from the main suction path 2 is supplied through the subsuction path 6a into the cylinder 9a into which a mixed gas from the main suction path 10a is also supplied. Accordingly, a strong swirl S is given to the mixed gas inside the cylinder 9a by the mixed gas injected from the subsuction path 6a, during which period, since the suction path 6b for the clinder 9b during a stroke other than the suction stroke does not coincide with the hole 15b provided in the rotary valve 15, all the amount of the mixed gas supplied from the subsuction path 6 is supplied to the subsuction path 6a, permitting better swirl flow to be formed even at the time of low output.
