Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent grout from infiltrating into an underground pipe line in which cables are built owing to grouting works by filling the gap located between the interior surface of the underground pipe line and the outer surface of the cables with tubes expanded by the water put under pressure therein.
CONSTITUTION: To the end part of an underground pipe line 2 in which a cable 3 is built is fixed the end of a tube 6 in the state that the end part is turned outside. The inside end of the tube 6 being connected with a rope 10 for pulling back, the pressurized water is injected into the inside of the part turned outside. The tube 6 is expanded by injection of water so that the gap between the interior surface of the underground pipe line 2 and the outer surface of the cable 3 is filled with the expanded tube, and it is held down in the required position in the underground pipe line 2, thereby the infiltration of grout can be prevented.
