Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease in the sealing degree of a photoelectric switch and to efficiently mounting a back cover thereof by forming recesses at predetermined positions of the predetermined surface of a case and mounting projections having packings on the recesses. CONSTITUTION:A reflection type photoelectric switch 1 consists of a case 11 for containing electronic circuits such as a light emitting element, a photodetector, an amplifier circuit, a switching circuit and the like, a cover 13 for closing the opening of the case 11, and a back cover 12 for covering the terminal group provided on the back surface of the case 11. There are provided recesses at predetermined positions of the predetermined surface of the case 11 for leading out the lead wires of the electronic circuits in the case 11, and projections provided on predetermined positions of packings. The projections are inserted into the respective recesses, and the packings are retained by the back cover 12.
