Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of preparation of a heat exchanger and decrease its preparation stages to half, by mating the stepped part of fins having a stepped part, picking up two fins and using the two fins as a heat exchanger.
CONSTITUTION: Two fins 1 are taken by mating their stepped parts. In said mated part a cut-in line 29 is provided with both ends left in a direction of width of the fin 1. After a piling of said taken two fins, the two fins are used as a heat exchanger until a process, in which pipes 2, 3 are inserted into a hole 10 to fix the fin 1 to the pipes 2, 3 by the work of brazing, is completed. In this way, after a completion of fixing the fin 1 to the pipes 2, 3, a knife is adapted to the place of a connection part 30 as shown by a dotted line 32 and parallelly moved in an axial direction of the pipe by the piling thickness of the fin 1, to separate a pair of crossfin tube heat exchangers from each other thus to prepare two heat exchangers.
