Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate idling distortion by eliminating the cut-off state of an output transistor by adjusting the idling current and power-feed retaining current of the output transistor by a resistor. CONSTITUTION:A voltage developed at the connection point between resistors 20 and 21 with no load is set to Vout=OV and idling current IDC flowing through output transistors (TR) 17 and 19 is adjusted by variable resistor 14. Next, resistor 14 is so adjusted that when Vout is not more than -1V, current Ia flowing through TR17 is IDC+Ialpha (Ialpha is conduction retaining current of TR17, 19), and resistor 45 is so adjusted that when Vout is not less than IV, electric current Ib flowing through TR19 is IDC+Ialpha. When Vout is OV, idling current IDC flows through TR17, 19. As Vout exceeds base-emitter voltage VBE of TR35, 36, TR17, 19 stay conductive.
