Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively recover energy reusable as power contained in LNG and hot source fluid by forming two Rankine cycles in cascade in the regasification of LNG.
CONSTITUTION: Liquefied natural gas (LNG) in a storage equipement 1 is boosted by a pump 2 and heated into gas in a line (a) of a multifluid heat-exchanger 3 by exchanging heat with the primary heat medium mixture in a line (c). The gasified LNG is heat-exchanged with the secondary heat medium mixture in a line (a') of a multifluid heat-exchanger 4 to become hot and heated to a specific temperature by the seawater in a heat-exchanger 5, and the hot gas is supplied to demanders. After completing the task required by a turbine 6, said primary heat medium goes into a line (c) of the heat-exchanger 3, where the medium is cooled and condensed. The cooled medium is boosted by a pump 7, gasified by heat-exchangers 4, 8 and fed back to the turbine 6. In the same manner, after the task in a turbine 9, the secondary heat medium recirculates through heat-exchangers 4, 11.
