Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to measure chromatopeak area accurately by correcting the position of a component selection gate in accordance with the shift of the peak of detected chromatograph.
CONSTITUTION: In case of a single peak, independent specific component selection gate G1 is set for a peak whose retention time is previously known. Next, start point S and end point E of the peak are detected by use of preset slope detection sensitivity and the base line is corrected by the straight line making a connection between point S and point E to find the peak area of chromatograph. When component selection gates G1 and G2 of mutually adjacent peaks cross each other, base lines of peaks P1 and P2 are corrected by the straight line between start point S1 of peak P1 and end point E2 of peak P2. Consequently, both peak areas of two peaks are found.
