Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce an electrode consumption ratio by enlarging space between an electrode or workpiece supporting portion and earth of insulator insulated portion to maintain floating capacity at a specified value or less. CONSTITUTION:A workpiece is fixed to a working bed 1 by screws, vacuum, magnetic adhesion, or the like and insulated by an insulating bushes 2. An intermediate member 5 is further insulated and fixed by insulating bushes 6 and fitting members 7. The bushes 6 are fixed to a bottom bed 9 respectively by fixing member 8 and the bed 9 is earthed. The insulator bushes 2, 6 are insulated on relatively narrow areas to produce 100pF or less of floating capacity with this insulation.
