Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to prevent the generation of a cold draft, by providing a forcing circuit wherein according to outputs of a deicer and a timer the velocity of a use side fan motor is reduced to a minimum velocity and auxiliary heater is on.
CONSTITUTION: When a deicer 204 has been actuated, relays 108, 110 becomes on, the velocity of a fan motor 102 is reduced to a minimum velocity, a heater 103 becomes forcing on, and the use side begins defrosting action. During this period, since the refrigerating cycle conducts a cooling cycle, the temperature of a use side heat exchanger is decreased gradually. When the deicer 204 has completed its action and the defrosting action has been completed, the relay 108 is switched off, and a timer 109 is energized to cause its contact to be on after a certain period. Thus the realy 108 can keep its on, and the use side defrosting action is continued. During this period the use side heat exchanger temperature rises. Thereafter the forcing conditions of the fan motor 102, and the heater 103 will be released.
