Abstract

CONSTITUTION: No cracks are grown at the compression stress area 4 shown by some dots even if there are any crack producing points therein when a compression stress -σ and a tensile stress +σ are alternatively remained in the container wall 3. If there are any cracks 2 in the tensile stress area 5 shown by a while base portion, they are grown in the tensile stress area 5 as indicated by an equal speed curve, they are not grown in the compression stress area 4. At last, a length of crack L when it is passed up to an outer surface of the tensile stress and thereby a length of the crack may substantially be decreased.
