Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify constitution arrangement on an operation display surface and also to lower the cost of manufacture by making it possible to change arithmetic modes by operating a depression key such as a push key.
CONSTITUTION: On the operation display surface of an electronic desk-top calculator, the key operation part with arranged push keys or touch keys is fitted with one additional push key or touch key mode for the mode change-over operation of changing four arithmetic modes cyclically in sequence. Therefore, the need for a space, etc., for arranging slide switches between the key operation part and display part D (conventionally needed) is eliminated and the operation display surface can be reduced in area correspondingly. Display part D, on the other hand, is provided with mode display part MD besides number display part ND and each arithmetic mode is displayed by the use of liquid crystal etc. according to a common signal and segment signal from CPU.
