Abstract

PURPOSE:To use a broad-band buffer circuit over a broad band by reducing an outpu DC offset voltage and its temperature fluctuations by canceling temperature fluctuations of the base-emitter voltage of a component transistor by a complementary diode. CONSTITUTION:With an input signal input to terminal 1, transistor TR3 conducts and the signal is supplied to the base of TR5 by way of TR3 and TR8, turning on TR5. Then, an output signal is output from terminal 6 by way of diode-connected TR9 and TR5. Here, temperature fluctuations of base-emitter voltage VBE of TR3 are canceled by complementary TR8 diode-connected to TR3. Further, temperature fluctuations of base-mitter voltage VBE of TR5 are canceled by complementary TR9 diode-connected to TR5. Consequently, the output DC offset voltage and its temperature fluctuations are reduced, so that the buffer circuit can be used over a broad band.
