Abstract
PURPOSE: To unfold the folded-back parts and let good copying be done by providing rotators which revolve while making contact in the direction oblique to the moving direction near the end parts of the original and letting these revolve by having a speed difference with respect to the moving speed of the original.
CONSTITUTION: A sensor 15 which detects the position of an original 4 and the brush rollers 16, 17 which are connected to a motor by bevel gears 18, 19 and are disposed in the direction oblique to the moving direction of the original 4 are rotatably provided between the feed-in rollers 3 and 6 of the automatic original feeder 1 in the copying machine. When the leading end and trailing ends of the original 4 are detected by the sensor 15, a motor speed is changed to provide a relative speed difference between the revolutions of the brush rollers 16, 17 and the moving speed of the original 4. Hence, even if there are folded-back parts at the ends of the original 4, they are forcefully unfolded and are made flat, hence the troubles owing to the folded-back parts may be eliminated and the good copying may be done.
