Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the output amplitude of a both-wave rectifying system and to enable an accurate bipolar and unipolar conversions therein by feeding back a component responsive to the peak value of the output rectifying signal to the input side of an amplifier of a bipolar and unipolar signal converter circuit. CONSTITUTION:A bipolar signal through a low pass filter is applied to a rectifying circuit having diodes 11, 12 to be rectified and to be amplified by an operational amplifier 13. The peak value of the output from the amplifier 13 is detected through a transistor 14, a resistor 15 and a capacitor 16, and is applied to the inverting phase input terminal of the amplifier 13. In this manner the output signal of the amplifier 13 may be amplified toward a negative going side. The resistor 17 is controlled to equalize the peak values at positive and negative going sides, and with the grounding potential as the reference value of the slice of bipolar and unipolar conversion so as to accurately execute the bipolar or unipolar conversion.
