Abstract
PURPOSE: To automate the positioning of a cargo rest, by providing a stopper which can be moved in and out forward as to a conveying direction and a push plate which is moved back and forth perpendicularly to the conveying direction, in the ascent position of a lifter.
CONSTITUTION: A cargo rest end detection limit switch 14 is provided on a lifter 2a to confirm that a cargo rest 4 is already transferred to a safe position. When the limit switch 14 is opened, a stopper arm 16 is tilted from a chain-line position in the direction of an arrow. The arm 16 is stopped by the action of another limit switch 18. When the lifter 2a is moved up and stopped in an ascent position, the cargo rest 4 is moved toward the stopper arm 16 by a conveyor 11. When such vertical positioning is completed and a limit switch 23 is operated, a screw shaft 27 is rotated and a push plate 25 provided in a pantograph 24 is moved forth and the cargo rest 4 is urged toward a fixed stopper 31 so that positioning is completed.
