Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the repeater from transmitting the output signal in response to the faint noise input when no signal exists, by cutting off the output of the repeater when the output signal of the peak value detecting means exceeds a fixed level for the repeater with AGC. CONSTITUTION:The peak value of the waveform equalization output is detected by detecting means 12, and the value of variable impedance element 8 is changed by the output signal of the above detection. Then the equalization property of variable equivalent element 2 is controlled by element 8 in order to keep the output level nearly at a constant value although the level of the input signal may vary. In such repeater with AGC, the output of the repeater is cut off by the interruption deciding output signal of current monitoring means 13 which generates the interruption deciding output signal in case the current of the control signal corresponding to the output signal of peak value detecting means 12 exceeds a fixed level.
