Abstract
PURPOSE: To convert wind energy into rotational energy effectively by a method wherein a plurality of supporting shafts are fitted to a rotatable cylindrical shaft, and main flaps provided with stoppers are fitted to the supporting shafts.
CONSTITUTION: The plurality of the supporting shafts 8, 9 are fitted to the rotatable cylindrical shaft 5 in radial directions, and the main flaps 13, 17 provided with the stoppers 15, 19 are fitted to the supporting shafts 8, 9. Accordingly, the main flaps 13, 17 are opened and closed in accordance with the wind direction, and the resistance against wind poressure can be reduced, so that the wind energy can be converted into the rotational energy effectively.
