Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembling work and exchanging work of a slot wedge by telescopically providing a movable wedge engaged with a dovetail slot at a part of the slot wedge, inserting it into the slot, and then push out the movable wedge for fixing securely. CONSTITUTION:A slot wedge 4 which fixes a stator coil 2 by inserting it into a slot hole is formed approximately in a rectangular prism shape, and a movable wedge 5 to be engaged with the dovetail slot 6 is telescopically provided at a part of the slot wedge 4. The wedge 4 is mounted at the slot hole in the state that the wedge 5 is retracted, the wedge 5 is then pushed out by utilizing the hole perforated on the wedge to intimately contact it with the dovetail slot 6, an adhesive is then flowed into the hole, and is fixed. Thus, it can facilitate the assembling work of the wedge 4 and the exchanging work of the wedge irrespective of the other wedges in exchanging the wedge.
