Abstract
PURPOSE:To observe the gradient of a waveform in a constant small period continuously by delaying a deflection current waveform, observed through an oscilloscope, by a certain time and then by comparing it with the original signal waveform. CONSTITUTION:A signal (a) of a television deflecting current is passed through a signal delay device 1 to obtain a similar waveform signal (b) with a phase lag. The signals (a) and (b) are inputted to a differential amplifier 2 to obtain a difference signal between the signals (a) and (b). This difference signal is projected on an oscilloscope 5 via a switch 4. On the other hand, a synchronizing pulse or oscillation pulse (c) is inputted to a pulse stretcher 3 to obtain a pulse (d) with stretched pulse width, which is inputted to the switch 4. The switch 4 connects the oscilloscope 5 to the output of the amplifier 2 when the signals (a) and (b) are both in scanning periods and grounds the input of the oscilloscope 5 from the flyback time of the signal (a) to the completion of the flyback time of the signal (b). From a thus obtained signal (e), the linearity of a deflecting current waveform is observed.
