Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a composite pipe without deforming a resin pipe by a method wherein the surface of a pipe of thermoplastic resin formed by means of an extruding machine is coated with resin treated glass fiber, and far-infrared rays are irradiated after ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 2 of thermoplastic resin is extruded continuously by means of an extruding machine 1, and cooled and solidified by means of a cooling tank 3. On the other hand, glass fiber strands are arranged to glass holders 5, passed through a glass focusing machine 6, and introduced into a resin impregnating tank 7 into which a mixture consisting of a photo-polymerization initiator, an accelerating agent and a curing catalyst is charged, and thermosetting resin is impregnated. A form is arranged by means of a preparatory foaming die 10, drawn and arranged along the axial direction of the pipe of thermoplastic resin as a core material, wound by means of a cop-winding machine 11, passed through a die in an ultraviolet irradiating device 13 and introduced into a far-infrared curing oven 15, and curing is completed at 80-120 deg.C.
