Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of filming and crystalization of selenium by preparing a plurality of cooling fins in an inner cylinder part of a drum body to prevent an exess rise of the surface temperature. CONSTITUTION:A drum 2 is formed with a drum body 2a comprising a cylindrical aluminum having a supporting part 2b at both ends. In an inner cylinder part many cooling fins 2d are provided. With this constitution, although the surface temperature of the drum 2 rises with frictional heat by friction of a cleaning brush during copying, the surface temperature, even if the drum 2 rotates with a high speed, does not rise excessively since through the cooling fins 2d heat is released. For the situation filming caused by melting of toner at 50-60 deg.C and crystalization of selenium produced at 40 deg.C can be prevented.
