Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a connection to a VTR of either one of the NTSC and PAL systems, by switching the reproduction demodulating means corresponding to the plural TV signal systems based on the frequency of the vertical synchronous signal of a signal which is reproduced from the VTR. CONSTITUTION:The PCM-changed acoustic signal corresponding to either one of plural standard TV systems is recorded on a VTR, and the vertical synchronous signal component is separated from said acoustic signal. Thus the standard TV system is detected to produce the control signal, and the PCM-changed acoustic signal is demodulated to the original acoustic signal. For instance, the acoustic signal led to an input terminal 3 is converted into a PCM signal having the same form as the standard TV signal to be recorded on the VTR which is connected to an output terminal 1a. The reproduced signal of the VTR is led to an input terminal 1b, and the frequency is detected through a detecting circuit 24 for the synchronous signal separated at asynchronous separating circuit 11. According to the output C of the circuit 24, a PLL circuit 16 and a control circuit 17 are switched to carry out a reproduction and demodulation according to each system.
