PURPOSE:To obtain a cold rolled Ti or Zr plate with high strength and superior warm workability by adopting cold rolling at 1-30% reduction ratio in the final stage of a process of manufacturing a cold rolled plate. CONSTITUTION:Cold rolling at 1-30% reduction ratio is adopted in the final stage of a process of manufacturing a cold rolled Ti or Zr plate, and the cold rolled plate is taken out as a product as rolled without carrying out annealing. The reason why the reduction ratio is adjusted to 1-30% is that it is difficult to produce sufficient twins in the material at <1% reduction ratio, and >30% large reduction ratio causes excessive work hardening in the material and deteriorates the warm workability again.
