Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a voltage waveform of high quality having no harmonic waves by employing a transistor in a generator field circuit. CONSTITUTION:The output voltage of a diode rectifying bridge 10 which rectifies the output voltage of a separately excited DC power source 9 or a generator 7 is applied to a series circuit of a transistor 8 and a generator field coil 6 to control the base voltage of the transistor 8 in response to the deviation between the set voltage and the output voltage of the generator. Thus, it does not produce harmonic waves at the firing time in such a case that a thyristor is used but can obtain the output voltage of high quality having no distortion from the generator.
