PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive lens unit having a small number of component parts assembled easily and scarcely allowing pass-through of flare light in the unit, by inserting and fixing the lenses and their connecting bars to a housing made of a light shielding material containing plural optical through-holes. CONSTITUTION:A housing 10 is made of a light shielding material containing the optical through-holes arrayed zigzag. The lenses 16 are inserted and fixed to the circular lens fitting hollow parts; and the connecting bars 17 and 18 of the lenses 16 are fitted and fixed to the connecting hollow parts 13 and 14 respectively. In such way, an inexpensive lamellar lens unit for copying machine is obtained with a small number of component parts assembled easily and with virtually no flare light.
