Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of an air conditioner with a simple construction by utilizing solar heat by arranging a selective transmission film at the outside of a heat source side heat exchanger for a heat pump type air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:A refrigeration cycle is composed of a refrigerant compressor 1, a four-way valve 2, a utilization side heat exchanger 3, a pressure reducing unit 4 and a heat source side heat exchanger 5. A solar heat selective transmission film 10 is arranged at the outside of the heat exchanger 5 to which solar light is irradiated, the side of the heat exchanger 5 to which the solar light is irradiated is colored in black, is surrounded by a fan guide 12 to form a suction port 13 and a diffuser 14, and a multi-blade fan 11 is installed.
