Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled recording paper providing high color developing density by a perfectly dry copying system by applying a photosensitive and heat- sensitive composition consisting of diazo sulfonate, a coupling agent and a specified binder to a support. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive and heat-sensitive composition is prepared by dissolving diazo sulfonate (A) represented by the formula (where each of R<1>, R<2>, R<4> and R<5> is H, halogen, alkyl or the like; R<3> is morpholino, pyrrolidino or the like; and M is an alkali metal or ammonium), a coupling agent (B) such as 4-benzoylresorcin and a binder (C) such as poly(chloro-2-hydroxy-3-methachloyloxypropylrimethylammonium) having quat. ammonium salt in the side chain in a solvent. The composition is applied to a support and dried at 50-60 deg.C to obtain recording paper. This paper is irradiated with light having 300-520nm wavelengths through a predetermined pattern to activate the composition, which is then allowed to develop color by heating to 100-150 deg.C and fixed under radiated light having 300- 450nm wavelengths.
