Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically perform burring or chamfering operation for a work, by reading memory from storing means with an industrial robot and transferring a rotary tool. CONSTITUTION:A rotary tool 3 is allowed to deflectively lean by a deflective force applying part 2, and a feed amount of the rotary tool fed out for the reference surface of a work 8, even if performed in a relatively rough manner, can be corrected by the deflective force applying part 2, permitting the profiling operation to the work 8. The tool 3 is held by a holding part 24 in such a manner as to perform a swivelling motion around the direction in which the deflective force is applied, further the tool 3 can be smoothly transferred along the work 8 while being applied with its pressing force to the work because the tool is provided with a resistance part 5, thus burring work can be effectively performed.
