Abstract

CONSTITUTION: While braking, a braking torque applied from a brake disc D to friction pads P1 and P2 is supported on a supporting surface 11 of a bracket B. As the first and second sliding pins 21 and 22 on the bracket B are lined up in almost radial direction of the brake disc D, an axis-to-axis distance between the both pins remains almost constant. What is more, since the second sliding pin 22 is closer to the center of a thrust of the both pistons 15 and 15' and the both sliding pins 21 and 22 are mutually maintaining the shortest distance keeping the piston 15 between their tops, brake calipers C are made to slide smoothly by operating repulsions of the pistons 15 and 15', and therefore, pressing forces of the both friction pads P1 and P2 against the brake disc D can be surely equilibrated.
