Abstract
09 PURPOSE:To combined-use a facsimile equipment as a multiple-address communication equipment by forming a transmission line through which picture signal is transmitted to a multiple-address device in a base band signal by a switching part, by providing a multiple-address interface part, control part and switching part in the facsimile communication equipment. CONSTITUTION:The output of picture generation part 3 of facsimile equipment 1 is led to modulator-demodulator 6 or multiple-address interface part 7 via switching part 5. The output of this modulator-demodulator 6 is led to network controller 8, and that of interface part 7 to multiple-address device 2 via a bus. Respective parts in equipment 1 are connected to control part 9 via the bus and under the control of control part 9, picture information generated by generation part 3 is sent to switching part 5, which changes modulator-demodulator 6 and interface part 7 over each other. Then, interface part 7 confirms a multiple-address signal sent from multiple- address part 2 and the transmission line for transmitting the picture signal to multiple-address device 2 with a base band signal is formed to use facsimile equipment 1 for multiple-address communication.
