Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the weight of a car door and simplify the work of fitting by shaping two structures of a door outer panel with an outer sash and a door inner panel with an inner sash separately and respectively into one bodies by resins and combining these two structures.
CONSTITUTION: A door sash upper 3 is separated into an outer sash 4 and an inner sash 5. A door outer panel 1 with the outer sash 4 and a door inner panel 2 with the inner sash 5 are shaped separately and respectively into one bodies by proper resin materials for constructing an outer door structure 6 and an inner door structure 7. A flange 8 shaped on the front, rear, and lower edges of the door inner panel 2 is brought into contat with the outer panel 1, and the outer sash 4 is faced and attached to the inner sash 5 at staged parts 4a and 5a. This construction permits to reduce the weight of a car door and facilitate the work of fitting.
