Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the high-speed recording without the use of a delay circuit by installing jet nozzles in each array with their axial lines tilted so that spurted ink may reach one line on a recording paper, in the device equipped with plural arrys of ink jet nozzles. CONSTITUTION:The first array of ink jet nozzles 13 and the second array of ink jet nozzles 13b are provided on an angular nozzle plate 13 at right angle with the surface of the angular nozzle plate 13. Consequently the axial lines of jet nozzles 13a and 13b tilt against each other, crossing on one point of a printing directional line 60 below the plate 13. A recording paper 40 is so arranged that the afore-mentioned printing directional line 60 may come right on the surface of the recording paper. In the meantime, a charging electrode unit 20 and a deflection electrode unit 30 are disposed corresponding to the incline of the axial lines above-mentioned jet nozzles 13a, 13b, between the nozzle plate 13 and the recording paper 40, thus the ink jet device is obtained.
