Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of the power source voltage and the ambient temperature by charging the speed setting capacitor with the output of the comparator to which the rectified waveform voltage and the same being smoothed are applied by way of the bridge circuit composed of resistances. CONSTITUTION:The saw tooth wave for setting speed synchronous to the power frequency is compared with the induction voltage of the motor to generate the trigger pulse of the thyristor for driving the motor. Here, in the saw tooth wave generation circuit, a comparator 31 is connected to the bridge circuit comprising resistances 13, 14, 33 and 34. The resistance values are so selected to ensure that the potential at the point P is larger than that at the point Q while the voltage at the point Q is smoothed with the capacitor 35. The output of the comparator 31 charges the capacitor 7 to generate the saw tooth wave at the point a. In addition, the induction voltage detection circuit is so arranged that the capacitor 23 is charged through the transistor 36 of the emitter follower.
