Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a sensor which is simple, is inexpensive and is free from thermal burn by providing a bimetal piece of which the camber inverts rapidly with temperature within a hermetic case which is wound with a heater wire on the outside surface. CONSTITUTION:A wind sensor is mounted in the blast port of a wind generator or near the same. Usually, the inside of a case 3 is slightly higher than the outside ambient temperature. When the operation of the wind generator stops in this state, the temp. in the case 3 is gradually elevated by a heater wire 4, but when the inversion operation temp. of a bimetal piece 11 is reached upon lapse of a fixed time, the camber state of the bimetal piece 11 inverts and a movable contact 12 can contact a stationary conducting piece 13. Then, the bimetal piece is uniformly heated by the heater wire and is nevertheless unaffected by the magnetism from the outside, thereby eliminating malfunction. During operation, the occurrence of chattering is prevented by a click mechanism.
