PURPOSE:To obtain a sensor which is simple, is inexpensive and is free from thermal burn by providing a bimetal piece of which the camber inverts rapidly with temperature within a hermetic case which is wound with a heater wire on the outside surface. CONSTITUTION:A wind sensor is mounted in the blast port of a wind generator or near the same. Usually, the inside of a case 3 is slightly higher than the outside ambient temperature. Then, the bimetal piece is uniformly heated by the heater wire and is nevertheless unaffected by the magnetism from the outside, thereby eliminating malfunction. During operation, the occurrence of chattering is prevented by a click mechanism.
