Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize an application even for such nozzle plate to which the ink jet mounts are arrayed in an inaccurate way, by securing a control for the level of the deflecting voltage as well as the level difference of the charge voltage with every ink jet mouth. CONSTITUTION:The level difference among the dots of the charge voltage that changes the ink particles is reduced to decrease the space between dots. Thus the record enable range of a jet mouth, i.e., the pitch is narrowed as shown by the figure (c). While the pitch is increased as shown by the figure (d) when the above- mentioned level difference is increased. When the deflecting voltage is increased, the dot group that performs recording with an ink jet mouth deflects to the right. And the dot group shifts to the left with a reduction of the deflecting voltage. As a result, the pitch width and the left-right position shift can be controlled by giving a control to the charge voltage and the deflecting voltage with every ink jet mounth. Thus the disturbance and uneven density can be eliminated for a recorded picture although the space is not equal among all ink jet mouths.
