Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve setting accuracy of a nozzle when the ring shaped nozzle is set on a stern by a method wherein a stern block to which the nozzle is fixed solidly is combined fixedly with a hull.
CONSTITUTION: The stern block 1 is equipped on building stocks 2 so that the propeller axis 0 points to the vertical direction and the nozzle 3 having a ringed front is put on the stocks and this nozzle 3 is installed on the stern block 1. Then the stern block 1 combined solidly with this nozzle 3 is allowed to rotate 90 degrees, that is, the propeller axis is allowed to rotate for erection so that it points horizontally and this stern block 1 is fixed to the hull 6 in a dock or on the stocks.
