Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent an engine from keeping its operation when an ignition switch is in an off state, by performing fuel cutting operation with the detection that the ignition switch is turned off.
CONSTITUTION: An engine performs a decision in a step 13 for its starting operation if present, and a switching signal of an output terminal P2 is turned off in a step 14 at the time of not starting. At the time of starting, a control circuit performs detection that the engine is stopped in a step 15 then stops generation of a switching signal of the output terminal P2 in an I/OLSI with decision of engine stop when an ignition switch 1 is in an on-state in a step 16 thus turns off a transistor Q1 in a step 17. When the switch 1 is turned off, power voltage VB is fed to a fuel injection controller by the transistor Q1, and the control circuit immediately performs fuel cutting operation in a step 18 to prevent the engine from violently running by a leak of the voltage VB.
