Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the wear and abrasion resistance by coating the surface of a piston with the mixed paint which is prepared by mixing thermosetting resin and solid lubricant with perfluoro-alcoxy (PFA) resin or the mixed resin of PFA resin and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin.
CONSTITUTION: A piston is coated or painted with the mixed material which is prepared by mixing thermosetting resin and solid lubricant with PFA which has nonadhesiveness, wear resistance, thermal durability, slip performance, and workability, or the mixed resin of PFA and PTEF, or the mixed resin of tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene copolymer resin (FEP), PFA, and PTFE, or the mixed resin of PFA, PTFE, and FEP. For example, the inner surface 4 of a cylinder 1 and the sliding surface 5 of a piston 2 are cleaned sufficiently, painted, grinding- worked, and finished to a necessary dimension.
