Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the device small-size to reduce the loss due to lens aberration, by incorporating the filter, which the optical signal of a prescribed wavelength permeates, and the light receiving element which is installed oppositely to this filter. CONSTITUTION:Fiber-side connector 9 to which fiber 7 protected by metallic sleeve 8 is fixed and element-side connector 10 where light receiving element 5 is fixed to an optimum position by thermosetting resin 11 or the like are fixed through self- condensing lens 13 of the 1/2 period length by screw part 12. In self-condensing lens 13, two self-condensing lenses 21 of the 1/4 period length are fixed with interference filter 22 interposed. By constituting the two-wavelength transmission system in this manner, since connector 10 is provided with filter 22 in the receiving side, it is unnecessary to provide the filter, which cuts reflection of the light, specially, and therefore, the loss as the whole of the transmission system is reduced.
