Abstract

At an end of the input shaft 1 inside the case 3 a ball holding mechanism 8 for holding a plurality of balls 7 as a torque transmitting element is provided, while at the part of the output shaft 2 inside the case 3 an output mechanism 9 for receiving a torque transmission from the balls 7 is provided. A stepless speed change operation can be performed by permitting the planetary motion of the torque transmitting balls 7 around the input shaft 1.
